The North section of the Oak Ridges Corridor Reserve is in the heart of the Oak Ridges Moraine, showcasing one of the most diverse collections of habitat. This carefully chosen site provides the perfect backdrop for our forest bathing experience, allowing you to immerse yourself fully in nature's embrace.

Even if you've visited York Region Forest before, our forest bathing session will help you experience it in a whole new way. You'll discover hidden corners, notice subtle details, and forge a deeper connection with this natural space. Prepare to be amazed by the wonders that have always been there, waiting for you to slow down and truly notice them.

You Might Be Asking...

What if it rains?

Forest bathing can be a beautiful experience in light rain. Make sure to come dressed for the weather. In case of severe weather, we'll reschedule and notify you in advance.

How physically demanding is forest bathing?

Our sessions involve gentle walking and periods of standing or sitting. The pace is slow and mindful. However, please inform us of any mobility concerns so we can accommodate you.

Is transportation provided to the forest bathing location?

We don't provide transportation to or from locations.

Can I bring my dog?

To maintain a peaceful environment and respect wildlife, we ask that you leave pets at home for this experience.

What should I bring?

Comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing (layers recommended)

Sturdy walking shoes suitable for gentle trails

Water bottle and a light snack to enjoy at tea ceremony

Sun protection (hat, sunscreen, sunglasses)
